How are cow dung cakes made?

dung cakes have been used in India since ancient  times, primarily by people in villages. The process of making these cakes is very simple. first, fresh cow dung is collect in one place, and a little water is added to it. It is then kneaded with the hands. A small amount of the mixture is taken in the hands and shaped into a round or flat cake, about 6or 8 inches in diameter. These cakes are then dried thoroughly in the sun, usually by sticking them to a wall or placing them on the ground or grass. After two or three days of drying in the sun, the cakes are turned over. They dry completely in about five days and become ready for use. the dried cow dung cakes are then stored in a shady  and dry place, protected from rain and moisture.
